What it feels like
Fenney opened in 2017 as the first neighborhood south of 44, built around a spring-fed nature trail and a recreation center with a grill and putting course. It’s quieter than the squares, with a walk-and-cart-along-the-water character that people either love immediately or don’t. [DRAFT — Kevin to edit]
Homes and costs
Designer, cottage and villa homes from the late 2010s. Bonds are larger than in the north but, on resales, have had several years of payments; district assessments are in the newer-district range. [DRAFT — Kevin to edit]
Who it suits
- Nature-trail and water people
- Buyers who want newer homes with some maturity
- Anyone who wants Sawgrass Grove and Brownwood close but not on top of them
Common questions
Do new-construction homes always have a bond?
Yes — a new home carries a full bond for its district. Resale homes may have a partly or fully paid bond, which is one of the biggest cost differences between resale and new. [PLACEHOLDER — Kevin to review]
